Learn about programs and resources available for hurricane recovery in Florida

GAINESVILLE, FL, November 25, 2024 – Federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), along with numerous Florida agencies and nonprofit organizations will participate in multiple Farm Recovery Centers during the first two weeks of December 2024. Staff and local experts will be on hand to discuss programs and resources that can support your farm’s recovery if impacted by Hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton.

The following are dates and locations of the Farm Recovery Centers. All will be open and available to producers between 09:00am to 03:00pm EST. 

  • December 3, 2024: The Ernest Courtoy Civic Center located at 1129 N.W. 4th Street, Jasper, FL 32052
  • December 5, 2024: Mayo Community Center located at 150 NW Community Circle, Mayo, FL 32066
  • December 5, 2024: UF/IFAS Extension Suwannee County located at 1302 11st Street SW, Live Oak, FL 32064
  • December 6, 2024: Levy County Government Center Cafeteria located at 310 School Street, Bronson, FL 32621
  • December 9, 2024: UF/IFAS Extension Polk County W.H. Stuart Center located at 1710 U.S. -17S  Bartow, FL 33830
  • December 10, 2024: UF/IFAS Hendry County Extension Office located at 1085 Pratt Boulevard LaBelle, FL 33935
  • December 11, 2024: North Fort Myers Recreation Center located at 2000 N. Recreation Park Way, North Fort Myers, FL  33903
  • December 13, 2024: UF/IFAS Madison County Extension Office located at 184 NW College Loop Madison, FL 32340
